Title III - LEP Student Subgrant Program


Note: The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.

Funding is made available to eligible local educational agencies (LEAs) to provide supplementary programs and services to limited English proficient (LEP) students, known as English learners (ELs). The purpose of the subgrants is to assist EL students to acquire English and achieve grade-level and graduation standards. Note: Recipients and funding amounts are subject to budget and administrative adjustments.

Consolidated Application
Due: June 30, 2011
California Department of Education's Consolidated Application (ConApp). Direct Funded LEA's eligible to apply by ConApp for Title III LEP student funds. Deadline of June 30, 2011.
LEP Student Direct Funded General and Progam Assurances Applicants that apply must certify that they have read and have accepted the assurances as a condition to receive funding and a copy of the assurances must be kept on file.
Cash Management Data Collection (CMDC) System A Web-based data collection application for LEAs to report federal cash management data in order to receive their apportionments.
