Title III, Part A, Language Instruction for English Learners

Funding is made available to eligible local educational agencies (LEAs) to provide supplementary programs and services to English learner students, known as English learners (ELs). The purpose of the subgrants is to assist EL students to acquire English and achieve grade-level and graduation standards. Note: Recipients and funding amounts are subject to budget and administrative adjustments. Late applicants will be funded based on availability of funds.

Preliminary eligibility earmarks for application for funding via Consolidated Application Reporting System (CARS) or Consortia Online Application (COA).

Cash Management Data Collection System A quarterly Web-based data collection for LEAs to report cash balance data in order to receive their apportionments.

Direct Funded Supplemental Application for New and Expanding Charter Schools, FY 2017-18 (Coming in September 2017)
E-mail notification of preliminary identification as direct funded eligible for new and expanding charter schools.
Funding Application Instructions and Guidance
Direct funded eligible LEAs must complete the CARS application to receive funding.
Consolidated Application and Reporting System (CARS) Link to CARS application.
General and Program Assurances (DOC) Applicants must certify and accept the assurances as a condition of receiving funding.
