Title III - LEP Student Subgrant Program


Note: The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.

Funding is made available to eligible local educational agencies (LEAs) to provide supplementary programs and services to limited English proficient (LEP) students, known as English learners (ELs). The purpose of the subgrants is to assist EL students to acquire English and achieve grade-level and graduation standards. Note: Recipients and funding amounts are subject to budget and administrative adjustments. Late applicants will be funded based on availability of funds.

Funding Application Instruction Letter Direct funded eligible LEAs must complete the CARS application to receive funding.

Supplemental Application for New and Expanding Charter Schools Email notification of preliminary identification as consortia eligible for a Title III LEP Student Subgrant in 2014-15.
Consortia Password/PIN Notification Letter (DOC) This letter contains the password local educational agencies use when applying as a consortium for the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. Title III, Limited English Proficient (LEP) Student Subgrant Program, 2014-15 Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) will be sent via secure email.
