Note: The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.
Funding supports local educational agencies (LEAs) that serve as the Regional Lead County Office of Education (COE) to provide field-based technical assistance and support to current and prospective After School Education and Safety (ASES) programs. The regions of the state served by the Regional Lead COE correspond to the 11 service regions of the California County Superintendents’ Educational Services Association. As part of the Statewide System of Field Support, the Regional Lead COEs serve on behalf of the California Department of Education (CDE), After School Programs Office, in providing support to local before- and after-school programs based on regional needs.
