Front-Line Professional Education Mini-Grants

Note: The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.

Five school districts will be competitively selected to receive grant funding to participate in a United States Department of Agriculture-supported program to prepare regional training teams capable of providing consistent, quality professional education to entry-level and front-line child nutrition program personnel working in public schools, child care agencies, and after-school programs. Once prepared, each team will offer a professional development course for the target audience in one of five Superintendent’s Regions throughout California.

Required for grants supported by state or federal funds. The signed grant application submitted to the CDE confirms a commitment to comply with the general assurances.
