Annual Federal Carryover Funds Report
Fiscal Year 2011–12
Executive Summary
Pursuant to California Education Code Section 12143(b), the California Department of Education (CDE) is required to submit an annual report regarding federal carryover fund balances no later than November 1 of each year. This report identifies remaining federal carryover funds balances after adjusting for current year budget actions. Carryover balances are further identified by federal fiscal year and potential reversion date, type of funded activity (State Administration, State Level Activity, Local Assistance, and Capital Outlay), and state budget category (State Operations, Local Assistance, and Capital Outlay).
