*Combination classes consist of two or more grade levels in one classroom. Although all pupils in a combination class must be counted for the purpose of the 20:1 maximum, some of them may be "ineligible" for class size reduction (CSR) funding. "Ineligibility" includes grade levels not currently part of the CSR program (e.g. fourth grade and above -- thus the fourth graders in a third/fourth combination class would be "ineligible").
**Grade-by-grade totals include pupils in combination classes. For example, pupils in a first-second grade 20:1 classroom are included in the appropriate grade level column. Pupils in the combination class column are in CSR classes that consist partially of grades 4-8.
***Includes pupils in CSR combination classes who were at grade levels ineligible for payment.
