Steroids and Dietary Supplements

Information on Senate Bill 37 and the United States Anti-Doping Agency's Guide to Prohibited Substances and Prohibited Methods of Doping.

Senate Bill 37 (Outside Source)
Prohibits the use of specified dietary supplements by high school athletes, requires each high school coach to complete a coaching education program, and prohibits a student from participating in high school sports unless the student signs a pledge not to use prohibited dietary supplements.

U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (Outside Source)
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) is the national anti-doping organization for the Olympic movement in the United States. The U.S. Congress recognized USADA as "the official anti-doping agency for Olympic, Pan American and Paralympic sport in the United States."
