The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has issued the first in a series of questions and answers stemming from USDA training on the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Second Interim Rule that was presented to state agencies in May and June 2005. This first set of questions and answers pertains to the application processes for both new and renewing CACFP institutions.
While the questions and answers are directed to state agencies, CACFP institutions will find them helpful in meeting the new program requirements.
