This Management Bulletin (MB) announces the availability of the Child and Adult Care Food Program Administrative Manual for Child and Adult Care Centers.

The Nutrition Services Division (NSD) has developed this manual to assist participating centers in mastering the requirements and operation of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The manual provides guidance on the requirements of the CACFP in a clear, user-friendly format, and will be periodically updated to reflect any new changes in federal regulation or policy. The NSD developed the manual in association with the California Department of Education (CDE) Press and CACFP stakeholders.

Agencies can download the Administrative Manual for Child and Adult Care Centers from the CDE CACFP Eligibility, Guidance, Manuals, and Resources Web page at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ls/nu/cc/mgmb.asp#manuals.
