This Management Bulletin (MB) provides the annual reimbursement rates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for State Fiscal Year 2013–14. Included are both the federal rates established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for the CACFP, and the State Meal reimbursement rates for child care agencies operated by a public school food authority outlined in the 2013–14 California State Budget. These reimbursement rates are effective July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014.

Note: CACFP center rates DO NOT include the cash-in-lieu value for USDA Foods. Centers receive cash-in-lieu of USDA Foods equal to $0.2325 for each lunch and supper served to enrolled participants.

by a Public School Food Authority


Day Care Home sponsoring organizations that are public school food authorities receive $0.1660 State Meal reimbursement for 75 percent of the breakfast and lunches served to participating children.
