This Management Bulletin (MB) provides the annual reimbursement rates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for State Fiscal Year 2013–14. Included are both the federal rates established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for the CACFP, and the State Meal reimbursement rates for child care agencies operated by a public school food authority outlined in the 2013–14 California State Budget. These reimbursement rates are effective July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014.

These new federal and California State reimbursement rates are also available on the California Department of Education, Nutrition Services Division’s Rates, Eligibility Scales, and Funding Web page at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ls/nu/rs/rates1314.asp#cacfp.

Day Care Home sponsoring organizations that are public school food authorities receive $0.1660 State Meal reimbursement for 75 percent of the breakfast and lunches served to participating children.
