The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) established
Team Nutrition to support the continuous improvement of school
meals and to promote the health and education of children. California
became the first Team Nutrition state partner on August 31, 1995.
Team Nutrition provides free resources:
- State-of-the-art nutrition education materials for children and families.
- Training and technical assistance for food service professionals.
Joining Team Nutrition is free. An Enrollment Form and information follow along with samples of some of the parent materials.
