The brakeboard program is available to provide instruction for a dual air brake system. This program can be modified for specific audiences i.e., instructors, drivers, mechanics, etc.
The brakeboard is a portable unit that can duplicate various brake functions and is used to explain and demonstrate the system as well as the required driver pre-trip inspection.
Defects can be simulated and identified so participants have an opportunity to observe the action and reaction to malfunctions within the system.
