NCLB Teachers & Paraprofessionals Requirements Data

Schools and districts report NCLB teacher and paraprofessional data to the California Department of Education (CDE) through the Consolidated Application. More information about the three sets of data, performance indicators needed for the NCLB federal reporting, is located on the Data Source and Description (link) page.

To access specific data in this database:

  1. Choose a school year in the School Year dropdown box.
  2. Once a school year is chosen, the County dropdown box will appear right below the School Year dropdown box. From the County dropdown box, select either a specific county, ALLCounties, or ALLSchoolsCA. The ALLCounties selection will display the county records for all 58 counties, and ALLSchoolsCA will display all of the schools in California. Once you have made your county selection, you may click the Preview Report button to view the report or continue to the next step for more specific data. An option to download the report data in Excel compatible format appears on each report page.
  3. If a specific county is selected from the County dropdown box, a blank District dropdown box will appear right below the County dropdown box.To view data for a specific district, select a district and click the Preview Report button. To view all districts within the selected county,select ALL then click the Preview Report button.
  4. If a specific district is selected from the District dropdown box, a blank School dropdown box will appear right below the District dropdown box. To view all schools under the selected district, click the Preview Report button. To view school level data for a specific school, select the desired school from the School dropdown box and click the Preview Report button. Once you are looking at the data you need, you can either print the report or download it to your computer by clicking on the Download in Excel Compatible Format button.
