Administrator Training

Pursuant to AB 430, provides professional development funds for school administrators using California State Board of Education (SBE) approved training providers.

Local Educational Agency (LEAs) Online Funding Application

The online application is available at the Management System for Administrator Training (MSfAT) (Outside Source). For more information on applying for AB 430 funding, see Section II, Guidelines and Requirements for Local Educational Agency. LEAs, by definition, include districts, charter schools, and county offices of education. Funding is allocated upon approval from the State Board of Education (SBE) and is contingent upon application requests and state budget availability.

Application for SBE Approved Training Provider

The Request for Applications presents criteria, requirements, and information concerning SBE approval of new Training Providers. The due date for the request for applications has passed. This page is for reference and administration of funding.

Training provider applications are due on a on-going basis with a six to eight week processing turn around. The SBE will approve training provider applications at the subsequent board meeting. The current listing of SBE-approved training providers is available at MSfAT (Outside Source).
