To Waive the Pupil Teacher Ratio

The following are examples of language that has previously been used when state board has considered pupil teacher ration waivers.

Waiver of Independent Study Programs

California Education Code Section 51745.6, and California Code of Regulations, Title 5, sections 11704 and portions of 11963.4(a)(3) as Follows:

…and the ratio of average daily attendance for the independent study pupils to full-time certified employees responsible for independent study does not exceed a pupil-teacher ratio of 25:1 28:1 27.5:1
