Instructional Support

Support from the California Department of Education to agencies ensures that adults have the knowledge and skills necessary to participate effectively as citizens, workers, parents, and family and community members.

Professional development resources, publications, research sites and a special adult education teacher site to assist instructors. Resources for administrators include guidance on credentials, curriculum resources and links to other frequently contacted agencies.

CASAS DynaReports (Outside Source)
Adult education data and reports available through DynaReports allow the selection of variables based on databases reporting on learners enrolled in California's federally funded WIA/AEFLA programs and state funded adult school programs. The data available have been collected from 1999 through the most recently completed program year.

Refugee Programs Bureau (RPB) (Outside Source)
The California Refugee Program is administered by the Child Care and RPB under the Child Care and Refugee Programs Branch, Welfare to Work Division of the California Department of Social Services. The RPB has responsibility for managing and coordinating the delivery of benefits and services to the refugee and entrant populations in California.
