The California State Advisory Council on Early Learning and Care (SAC) will make recommendations on the future policy direction for early learning and related services for young children in California. The SAC is co-chaired by Pete Cervinka, Program Deputy Director for Benefits and Services, California Department of Social Services, and Interim Co-chair Lupita Cortez Alcalá, Deputy Superintendent, Instruction & Learning Support Branch, California Department of Education. The co-chairs invite stakeholders in early learning and members of the public to participate in the upcoming meetings of the SAC.
