EESD Budget Appropriations

Appropriations represent separate and distinct spending authorizations contained in the State budget, passed by the Legislature and signed into law by the Governor. Each appropriation is supported by separate budget submissions that provide varying levels of detail about planned procurements and expenditures.

These Child Care and Development funds are to administer direct service programs (State Preschool, General Child Care, Migrant Child Care, Alternative Payment, Alternative Payment-CalWORKs Stage 2, Alternative Payment-CalWORKs Stage 3, and Handicapped program) and non-direct service programs (Resource and Referral, California Child Care Initiative, Quality Improvement Funds, Local Planning Council) in California.
