Title III Immigrant Student Program Annual Survey

Dear Select County and District Superintendents and Charter School Administrators:


As a condition of receiving funding, each Title III Immigrant Student Program subgrantee accepts certain assurances, including the requirement to make reports as necessary to enable the state agency to perform its duties. The California Department of Education (CDE) has created an online survey to collect data it is required to report to the U.S. Department of Education. This online survey will be available from September 3, 2013, through September 30, 2013.

The survey consists of only two questions which relate to the participation of immigrant students in Title III-funded activities in your local educational agency during the 2012–13 school year. Consortium leads should complete a separate survey for each consortium member. The Title III Director or a person knowledgeable about the Title III program in your agency should complete this survey.

You may find the online survey on the CDE Title III Immigrant Student Program Annual Survey Web page at You will need the personal identification number (PIN) provided on the enclosed Logon Information document in order to obtain access to the survey.
