IDEA Web Cast Training

The California Department of Education (CDE) offered a free, one-day Web cast training for special education and general education personnel. The Web cast, delivered via the Internet, provides information on the final federal regulations implementing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as amended in 2004. Art Cernosia, Esq., a noted expert in federal special education law and regulations, provides the training.

This Web cast can be viewed at http://www.ideatraining.org/ (Outside Source). The agenda, handout, and PowerPoint presentation materials are also available at this link. In addition, this Web cast was available in Digital Video Disc (DVD) format and distributed to key stakeholder groups in May, 2007.
