Recently, a number of interested individuals contacted the California Department of Education (CDE) regarding Guidelines and Procedures for Meeting the Specialized Physical Health Care Needs of Pupils (Green Book).
The Green Book is out of print and out of date. The Green Book does not reflect CDE policy or procedure, and contains information that should not be provided except through certified health professionals. Should individuals require information regarding medical treatment, they should contact the appropriate medical professional for advice and direction.
