The National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE), with support from the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN), presents our 11th Annual Satellite Conference Series. The 2007-08 focus is “High School and Beyond: Strategies and Opportunities for Positive Results.”
This series is provided at no cost to California sites and may be recorded off-air for duplication and distribution to the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) and county or district offices. The series may also be used via streaming media for continuing education units (CEUs) or viewed through satellite downlink. Local cable systems may broadcast the educational series to teachers, parents, and other interested persons within their communities. These programs typically last for two hours. Streaming media version of this conference will be available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will remain online throughout the conference series.
High School Redesign: Expanding Resources and Opportunities through School/Business Partnerships

Changes in the structures and administration of high school programs are needed for all students to be successful in their high school experience. School/business partnerships offer new connections, opportunities and resources for all students, including students with disabilities. This conference will feature Breaking Ranks II: Strategies for Leading High School Reform developed by the National Association of Secondary School Principles.
