The Nell Soto Parent Teacher Involvement Program is designed to strengthen communication between schools and parents as a means of improving academic achievement through home visits and/or community meetings.
The grant awards pay for teacher training and participation in the home visit/community meeting program. Funds also may be used to defray other costs associated with implementation of the program.
