Interpreters/Reasonable Accommodation
Interpretation Assistance: Provisions for attendees requiring an interpreter will be made available if necessary.
Reasonable Accommodation: Pursuant to state and federal statutes, individuals with a disability may request reasonable accommodation to attend or participate in the conference. Provisions for sign language interpreters will be made if necessary.
Requests for either interpretation assistance or reasonable accommodations are to be directed to Sandi Ridge, Education Programs Consultant, District Innovation and Improvement Office, by e-mail at sridge@cde.ca.gov no later than 4 p.m. on August 1, 2012. In the subject line of the e-mail, please place the following: “California Title I Conference Reasonable Accommodation or Interpretation Assistance Request,” and in the body of the e-mail state the nature of the accommodation.
