School and Local Educational Agency Reports
The 2005 Accountability Progress Report for schools and local educational agencies (LEAs) provides information prior to the beginning of the 2005-06 school year about the Academic Performance Index (API) for the 2004-05 reporting cycle, 2005 Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), and 2005 Program Improvement (PI) status. An LEA can be a school district or a county office of education. This glossary is designed to assist in interpreting the report.
