Dear Accountability Coordinators:

This e-mail is to update you on the release of the following accountability reports:

  • Accountability Progress Reporting (APR), which includes the 2015 Adequately Yearly Progress (AYP) and 2015–16 Program Improvement (PI) Reports, are tentatively scheduled to be released in early December on the California Department of Education (CDE) APR Web page at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/ac/ar/.

  • Title III Accountability Reports are tentatively scheduled to be released in mid- December on the CDE Title III Accountability Web page at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/ac/t3/.

As in prior years, local educational agencies (LEAs) and direct-funded charter schools will have an opportunity to preview their AYP and PI Reports before the public release date. As soon as specific release dates have been finalized, we will notify secure accountability coordinators when the preview data are available.

If your district or direct-funded charter school does not have a secure accountability coordinator, please have a staff member register as a secure coordinator on the Accountability Listserv at http://www.accountabilityinfo.org/.

If you have any questions regarding the APR, please contact the Academic Accountability Unit (AAU) by phone at 916-319-0863 or by e-mail at aau@cde.ca.gov.

If you have questions about Title III Accountability, please contact Stephanie Woo, Education Research and Evaluation Consultant, Data Visualization and Reporting Office, by phone at 916-323-3071 or by e-mail at amao@cde.ca.gov.

Sincerely,

/s/
