August 8	Deadline to submit requests regarding significant population changes in order to modify Growth Academic Performance Index (API) reporting for the September 4, 2008 release
August 15	2008 Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) appeals information posted on the AYP Web page
August 18	Letter mailed to local educational agencies (LEAs) regarding the September 4, 2008 release of 2007–08 Accountability Progress Reporting (APR) information
August 22	2008 Adequate Yearly Progress Report Information Guide posted on the AYP Web page
August 27	Reports and downloadable data files pre-released for LEAs on the API, AYP, and Program Improvement (PI) Web pages: 2008 Growth API reports 2008 AYP reports 2008–09 PI reports
