Application deadline for the exception to the 1.0 percent cap on proficient or above scores based on the 2012 California Alternate Performance Assessment (CAPA)

E-mail notification to Accountability Coordinators regarding the July 17 letter to all district superintendents and charter school administrators regarding the rescheduled release of the 2011–12 Accountability Progress Reporting (APR)
August 30 Deadline to submit requests regarding significant population changes in order to modify Growth Academic Performance Index (API) reporting for the 2011–12 APR release
September 25 2012 Adequate Yearly Progress Report Information Guide posted on the California Department of Education (CDE) Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Web page
September 27 CDE's California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE) and Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Data Error Review information sent to Accountability Coordinators

October 3

Reports and downloadable data files pre-released for LEAs on a password-protected CDE Web page:

  • 2012 Growth API reports
  • 2012 AYP reports
  • 2012–13 PI reports
October 5 Deadline to report data errors to the CDE to request suppression of the API data
October 11

Deadline to make demographic data corrections on CAHSEE through Educational Testing Service (ETS)
October 25 Deadline to submit appeals of the 2012 AYP results to the CDE
