- Database or spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, dBase, FoxPro, FileMaker Pro, etc.).

Using Stuffit Expander
The following instructions apply to Stuffit Expander. If you have other uncompression software the procedures are similar.
- Open Stuffit Expander.
- From the application menu select File-Expand.
- From the dialogue box select the API data file and the destination folder.
- Select and click on the Expand button.
- Open the appropriate software application. You may have to increase the amount of memory allocated to the application software.
- Select File-Open from the application menu.
- Open the List files of Type drop-down box and select "ALL FILES". Open the data file.
