On the Right Track (OTRT) 6 Symposium School and District Profiles
This year's OTRT symposium included presentations from four districts and 12 schools engaged in systemic reform. The OTRT symposium provided a valuable opportunity for Program Improvement (PI) school and district teams in the early stages of reform to interact with and learn from schools and district teams, in the early stages of reform, to interact that have developed strategies to improve student achievement. The presenting schools and districts represented various geographic regions and diverse student populations. Best Practices of Successful Schools
This section contains the profiles of successful schools. Each profile provides a brief description of the school, its demographics, and a highlight of the school's best practices. The Visitors’ Guide provides a subset of California Distinguished Schools that responded to a follow-up survey. These schools welcome visitors to their sites to share the strategies and best practices at the heart of their success.
