WestEd, in collaboration with the California Department of Education, compiled a research database of schools participating in California's Immediate Intervention/Underperforming Schools Program (II/USP) and Comprehensive Schools Reform (CSR) programs that are demonstrating success in improving student achievement. From this database, 25 Cohort I II/USP and CSR schools were selected to present in breakout sessions at the On the Right Track I Symposium April 8-9, 2003. Twenty-one of those schools have continued to succeed in improving student achievement.
