Program activities and dates for the 2012 Classified School Employee of the Year (CSEY) Program.

Date	Activity
November 2011	The California Department of Education (CDE) disseminates nomination forms and instructions to county offices of education (COEs).
November 2011 - February 2012	COEs determine nominees.
March 12, 2012	Postmark deadline for COEs to submit nominations to the CDE.
March - April 2012	State selection committee reviews nomination forms and selects semifinalists.
April 2012	The State Superintendent of Public Instruction notifies the awardees.
April 2012	The CDE announces the Classified School Employee of the Year awardees.
May 20-26, 2012	Classified School Employee Week.
May 24, 2012	Awardees are honored at an event in Sacramento hosted by the CDE and event sponsors during Classified School Employee Week.
