Instructions for County Coordinators

Information about submitting the 2017 Application for the California Teachers of the Year Program.

Who Submits

Submission of the completed California Teachers of the Year Program 2017 Application to the California Department of Education is strictly limited to County Office of Education (COE) Teacher of the Year Coordinators.

The COE should review applications to ensure that the applicant's and the school's schedules, including (page 3 of application cover sheet) alternate schedule days, are complete and accurate at the time of submission to the California Department of Education.

Number of Copies

For each candidate, the COE Teacher of the Year Coordinator should submit one original application (printed single-sided) and an additional 25 copies (printed back-to-back).

Due Date

The county application submission package must be postmarked by Friday, August 19, 2016.
