The Pre-Identification File Layout (Comparison) for CAASPP, CAHSEE, CELDT and PFT.

Fiscal Year 2014-15 Pre-Identification File Layout (Comparison) for California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE), California English Language Development Test (CELDT), and Physical Fitness (PFT) Assessments. This file layout (comparison) displays the data field names, field locations, and field lengths that are common to the CAASPP, CAHSEE, CELDT, and PFT assessments for 2014-15.

*For 2014-15, the CAASPP assessment column replaces the STAR Program column in this comparison display. LEAs are expected to Pre-ID the following CAASPP assessments (STAR Program assessments not part of Smarter Balanced Field tests) including Science California Standards Tests (CSTs), Science California Modified Assessment (CMA), Standards-based Tests in Spanish (STS), and California Alternate Performance Assessment (CAPA). LEA submissions for each of the Pre-ID assessments should follow the specific Pre-ID file layout and preparation instructions provided by each assessment.

(The Smarter Balanced Field Tests beginning in 2014 include English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics (Math) assessments that utilize a separate registration system – Data fields for these assessments are displayed on separate documentation and do not appear on this layout.)
