Bridging to the 21st Century: Implications for GED
Conference Description: The conference provides critical updates on the GED testing program in California to key GED testing personnel. This year, the conference will focus on GED program changes, including the computer-based testing (CBT) project. Key representatives from the GED Testing Center will attend the conference and provide vital national updates as the State GED Office plans the transition from paper-based testing to CBT.

Pre-Conference – New Chief Examiners Only!
New Chief Examiners will be provided an overview of the GED program and requirements by the GED Testing Service (GEDTS), Educational Testing Service (ETS), and the California Department of Education (CDE). The Pre-Conference Orientation will be held the morning of Thursday, October 27, 2011, immediately prior to the start of the GED Conference.
