2009–10 Apportionment Information Report Waiver Requests

If a local educational agency (LEA) did not return a signed 2008–09 CAHSEE Apportionment Information Report to the California Department of Education (CDE) by the December 31, 2010 deadline, the LEA may apply to the State Board of Education (SBE) for a waiver of the deadline. The CDE cannot release payment of the apportionment funding for late reports without a waiver approved by the SBE. The State Testing Apportionment Information Report Waiver form is available on the CDE Waiver Forms Web page. On the bottom of the Web page, select the link “State Testing Apportionment Information Report Waiver Form.” The CDE mailed the 2009–10 CAHSEE apportionment reports to district superintendents and charter school administrators in November 2010. Accordingly, the CDE has processed reports that were received by the December 31 deadline and payment can be expected in May or June 2011.

Questions regarding the waiver request process can be directed to the Waiver Office by phone at 916-319-0824. If you have questions regarding the CAHSEE Apportionment Information Report, please contact Gayle Jamerson, Analyst, CAHSEE/Physical Fitness Testing (PFT) Office, by phone at 916-319-0340 or by e-mail at cahsee@cde.ca.gov.
