Testing dates for the CA High School Exit Examination, the Standardized Testing and Reporting Program, the CA English Language Development Test, the Physical Fitness Test, and the CA High School Proficiency Examination.

California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE)

Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program

The STAR testing schedule for the 2008 administration of the California Standards Tests and the California Achievement Tests, Sixth Edition Survey (CAT/6), the California Alternate Performance Assessment (CAPA), and the Standards-based Tests in Spanish is:

A 21-day window for each school, program, and track.

The window to be comprised of the 10 days before and 10 days after the day on which 85 percent of the instructional year is completed.

All regular and make-up testing must be completed within the 21-day window.

Dates for the 2009 administration of the grades 4 and 7 California Standards Writing Tests are:

Tuesday, March 3, 2009, with a make-up day of Wednesday, March 4, for all schools, programs, and tracks in session on these dates.

Tuesday, May 5, 2009, with a make-up day of Wednesday, May 6, for schools, programs, and tracks not in session during March.

California English Language Development Test (CELDT)

The annual testing window of the CELDT is July 1-October 31. Initial identification assessments are ongoing throughout the school year.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

The designated testing window for administration of the Physical Fitness Test is February, March, April or May.

California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE)
