Funding Description

The sum of $4,583,000 is appropriated to school districts with school sites that participated in the Quality Education Investment Act of 2006 program, during the 2013-14 fiscal year, but that did not qualify for concentration grant funding pursuant to paragraph (1) of subdivision (f) of Section 42238.02 of the Education Code as of the second principal apportionment of the 2013-14 fiscal year.

Required Eligibility Criteria Funding is in support of districts with school sites that participated in the Quality Education Investment Act of 2006 (QEIA) established in California Education Code sections 52055.700 through 52055.780 during the 2013-14 fiscal year, but that did not qualify for concentration grant funding pursuant to paragraph (1) of subdivision (f) of Section 42238.02 of the EC as of the second principal apportionment of the 2013-14 fiscal year.

Allocation Formula The Superintendent of Public Instruction shall allocate an amount to each qualifying school district pursuant to this provision equal to 50 percent of the final 2013-14 Quality Education Investment Act of 2006 program apportionments. Qualifying districts with school sites that participated in the Quality Education Investment Act of 2006 program during the 2013-14 fiscal year, but that did not qualify for concentration grant funding.
