Webinar
The USDA is hosting a webinar for school food authorities (SFA) on March 30, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PST. Participants must register for the Webinar for SFAs on Proposed Rule: Community Eligibility Provision – Increasing Options for Schools
via Zoom.
Summary of Proposed Rule
The rule proposes to expand access to the Community Eligibility Provision by lowering the minimum identified student percentage participation threshold from 40 percent to 25 percent, which would give states and schools greater flexibility to choose to invest non-federal funds to offer no-cost meals to all enrolled students.
