ELPAC Remote Testing Guidelines Coming Soon!

In issue 101 of the Assessment Spotlight, we announced that the California Department of Education (CDE) is exploring options for local educational agencies (LEAs) to administer the Initial ELPAC remotely. In the meantime, the CDE has been working closely with testing contractor Educational Testing Service to develop remote testing guidelines and resources for LEA staff, parents, and guardians. With LEAs entering a new school year in the near future, we are endeavoring to provide this information as soon as possible. Until that time, we ask that you refrain from making copies of the Directions for Administration and conducting any remote testing until the necessary guidelines have been approved and posted. We thank you for your continued patience.
