The administration window is open until the end of an LEA’s instructional year or July 15, whichever comes first.
Note that newly available constructed-response items and training materials can be found on the Test Operations Management System, under the Resources tab. In addition, the CSA practice tests and training tests are available on the CAASPP website .
New ELPAC Video Resource!
The new video "Overview of the Computer-Based ELPAC" is now available on the ELPAC website! This video presents information about the new computer-based Summative and Initial ELPAC and can be used to provide an overview for staff, parents, and guardians. A Spanish version of this video will be coming soon!
All About Accessibility
An accessibility resource available for both CAASPP and ELPAC is the “line reader.” The online line reader is a universal tool a student uses for reading assistance by raising and lowering the tool for each line of text. To move the line reader, which applies to items and passages, the student selects anywhere on the next line to be shaded. More information on this universal tool can be found in Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium: Usability, Accessibility, and Accommodations Guidelines, available on the Smarter Balanced website . In addition, a short video tutorial is available on the CAASPP website Embedded Universal Tools, Designated Supports, and Accommodations Video Tutorials web page .Please share this email with any educators in your LEA who would be interested in or benefit from this information. To join the email list, send a blank email message to firstname.lastname@example.org. Are you a new subscriber?
