Data Collection Purpose
The purpose of this data collection is to calculate the total allocation amount available to the local educational agency (LEA) for Title II, Part A Preparing, Training, and Recruiting High-Quality Teachers, Principals, and Other School Leaders.
Charges by the district may include indirect costs and any repayment of funds.

Displayed Data - Entitlement
2017–18 Title II, Part A Entitlement: The Consolidated Application and Reporting System (CARS) will provide the entitlement source data from the CDE Title II, Part A Web page.
Transferred-in Amount: The CARS will provide the transferred-in amount as reported in the 2017–18 Federal Transferability data collection.
Total Funds Transferred out of Title II, Part A: The CARS will provide the total funds transferred out of Title II, Part A amount as reported in the 2017–18 Federal Transferability data collection.Total Entitlement after Transfers: The CARS will calculate the value as the entitlement plus transfers-in minus total funds transferred out of Title II, Part A.

Rural Education Achievement Program (REAP): This section is only applicable to LEAs that are participating in Title V, Part B, Subpart 1 REAP Flexibility, per their 2017–18 Application for Funding.
Funds Available for Flexible Use Under REAP: The value is equal to the allocation amount.
