Instructions: Title I Nonprofit Students Served

Consolidated Application, Spring Release program instructions for the 2017–18 Title I, Part A Nonprofit Private School Students Served.
Data Collection Purpose

The 2017–18 Title I, Part A Nonprofit Private School Students Served report collects nonprofit private school eligible students served by grade level (receiving Title I, Part A equitable services).

Guidance

Title I, Part A Nonprofit Private School Students Served data collection requests information in response to Public Law 114-95 (Section 1117); the California Department of Education (CDE) has developed this form to collect data on eligible students served attending nonprofit private schools receiving public compensatory education programs and to submit that information annually to the U.S. Secretary of Education.

This form is to be completed for nonprofit private schools with eligible participating students who were served using Title I, Part A funding during 2017–18. Information must be reported for those who received Title I, Part A services.

Enrollment: The data displayed originates from the school’s annual Private School Affidavit.

Students Served Total: The sum of all grade level students served counts.

Has Data: A flag indicating whether the local educational agency (LEA) entered data for the school on the detail form.

Not Field Name Specific School: [School Name] the sum of all students served cannot exceed the school enrollment. Enter data to ensure that the sum of all grades is not greater than the school enrollment.
Not Field Name Specific School: [School Name] the sum of all students served must be greater than zero. If the LEA did not serve any nonprofit private school students, then the school’s participating flag should be changed to “No” in the Title I, Part A Nonprofit Private School Participation form.
Not Field Name Specific School: [School Name] is not participating in Title I, Part A equitable services. Open the form and re-save it.
