Funding Description

The purpose of this program is to strengthen communication between schools and parents as a means of improving pupil academic achievement. Only those that did not receive funding from rounds 1-4 are eligible for Round 5.

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria At least 50% of teachers employed at the school have voluntarily agreed to participate in either home visits or community meetings. NOTE: Only those that did not receive funding from rounds 1-4 are eligible for Round 5. See detailed RFA for additional criteria.
Other Eligibility Considerations At least 50% of parents/guardians of pupils enrolled at the school have voluntarily signed a compact and agreed to participate in home visits or community meetings. See detailed RFA for additional criteria.
