Funding Description

This is an expansion of the Student Academic Partnership Program for kindergarten through grade twelve. It supports reading and mathematics tutoring programs operated by local educational agencies (LEAs).

Eligibility

Eligible Applicants Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria All LEAs are eligible to apply with one exception. If your LEA was funded for a K-6 Student Academic Partnership Program, it is only eligible to apply for an Academic Partnership Program for grades seven through twelve. Your LEA is still eligible to apply for AmeriCorps funding.
Other Eligibility Considerations In addition to individual LEAs, consortia of school districts or school districts and county offices of education may apply.
