California Partnership Academy (CPA) Special Funding

Funding Description
Funding is available for the CPA Program and is contingent on inclusion in the approved State Budget. Funding will be provided through the Governor's Technical Education (CTE) Initiative. The CPAs are effective school / district / business partnership, providing integrated academic and career technical instruction. The CPA model, a school-within-a-school for students interested in exploring, preparing for careers, and college.Eligibility

Required Eligibility Criteria | This is special funding for the CPA Program. Schools participating in the program must follow the specification of California Education Code sections 54690-54696. |
Other Eligibility Considerations | Applications must demonstrate that all CPA components are or will be operational. First year programs meeting these requirements may apply for $42,000 of funding, based on enrollment of at least 30 students at $1400/student. Second-year programs meeting these requirements may apply for $72,000 of funding, based on enrollment of at least 60 students at $1200/student. |
