Funding Description

The selected County Offices of Education will develop focus groups, networking systems, and training to be piloted within their catchment areas. The work will focus on providing support to special education early childhood administrators. Training on policy issues and practices related to the State Performance Plan and Annual Performance Report will be the focus of the content.

Eligible Applicants	Local educational agencies
Required Eligibility Criteria	The Napa County Office of Education and the Sacramento County Office of Education have in place the capacity to conduct early childhood training and technical assistance. They both conduct work on various levels for the early childhood field.
Other Eligibility Considerations	Local educational agencies must have an approved Special Education Local Plan Area local plan on file with the Special Education Division, California Department of Education.
