State Performance Plan Facilitated Review Grant: Least Restrictive Environment


Funding Description

The State Performance Plan (SPP) Facilitated Review Grant specific to increasing access to the general education environment for students with disabilities is designed to assist local educational agencies (LEAs): (1) improve educational results and functional outcomes for students with disabilities; and (2) ensure that LEAs meet compliance and SPP program requirements specific to Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). The SPP Indicator 5 Technical Assistance system consists of a partnership with the California Department of Education (CDE), the Santa Clara County Office of Education, and participating school districts.
