Funding Description

The purpose of the California Education Leadership Professional Learning Initiative is to provide an in-depth professional learning opportunity for a cohort of teacher leaders and practicing and aspiring California school administrators that will result in a self-assessment tool that may be used to demonstrate educator leader readiness and preparation program quality.


Eligible Applicants Institutions of higher education
Required Eligibility Criteria The three mandatory partners for an Improving Teacher Quality State Grant are a school or department of education within an institution of higher education (IHE) that prepares teachers; a division of arts and sciences within an IHE; and a high-need local educational agency.
